Branding image, business card, website, and tri-fold brochure

The Rolf Workshop

Manny Aragon is a certified practictioner of the Rolf Method of Structural Integration. But what is structural integration? We developed a tri-fold brochure and a corresponding website, to answer that very question for his prospective clients.
All of these marketing materials are related, and share design elements. We started with developing the branding image, and then the business card. That set the tone for the website and brochure which followed.

The identity: a branding image

I developed this illustration of a person's back as a branding image to suggest the idea of the natural symetry and balance in the human form, and how it interacts with the force of gravity, which is what rolfing works to balance, align, and improve.

The business card

The second component we developed was the business card. Since Manny was relocating to a new city it was important for him to be able to start building his clientele right away. We included a photo, to make it easier for folks to remember him.

The tri-fold brochure

What is Rolfing? What is Structural Integration? This little double-sided tri-folded brochure explains the process, and introduces prospective clients to the twelve week program.

The neutral color palette was chosen to evoke the clean comfortable environment of a day spa. The white page floats on a beige linen background.

I designed graphical illustrations to explain the theory and benefits of the Rolfing process.

I also art-directed a photo-shoot of Manny with various patients to help prospective clients visualize what the techniques are, and to know more about what to expect during their visits.

HTML and CSS stylesheets were developed so that there would be a consistant design to the main navigation links, the links to the sub-pages, and the titles and subtitles of all the pages.

Another CSS type style was defined specifically for pull-quotes, so that they would stand out from the rest of the text on the site.
