Award winning interactive virtual tour of the new 2002 Jeep Liberty, Wrangler, and Grand Cherokee

The Jeep Experience

This flash driven interactive experience won a Silver Caddy Award in 2002 for excellence in automotive advertising. It is a virtual showroom for the Jeep Liberty, Wrangler, and Grand Cherokee. Users switch between the Jeep Wrangler, the Jeep Liberty, and the Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles. They can spin the vehicles around 180 degrees in either direction, or they can open the doors, climb inside and explore the key design features of the interiors, or change their environment to experience the new Jeep against the backdrop of the great Colorado Rocky Mountains, the red dirt of the Grand Canyon, or the citscape of downtown San Francisco. Users can play with the radio, honk the horn, open the hatch, checkout the engine - just about anything but kick the tires. Working as a contractor for Organic Interactive, in Detroit, Michigan, I designed the interface and the user-interactions, art-directed the photoshoots of the vehicles, recorded all of the sounds, and built the initial flash piece.
