Dave Kendrick, San Francisco, CA curriculum vitae education I have a B.A. in Computer Graphics, from Pratt Institute, School of Art and Design in New York. professional history I started my career in 1992 working as an art director and production manager for a boutique advertising agency in Manhattan, known as Romann & Tannenholz Advertising. I directed national television, magazine, and newspaper ad campaigns for consumer products and brands including Stella Cheese, Benihana restaurants, and Palm Beach Menswear. Working for R/Greenberg and Associates, I developed 3D computer graphic animations and special effects for television and film. Noteable clients included: Newline Cinema, Shell, and Ford. Animation for films included "The Shadow", starring Alec Baldwin, and "Judge Dred", starring Sylvester Stalone. Starting in 1996, I was the creative director and operations manager of Dynamind, a web development firm in Manhattan for over four years, developing public websites, corporate intranets, and online software applications, for Fortune 500 corporations and high-technology companies. In 1999, I became a V.P. Our clients included Amerada Hess, AIG, The White House, The PeaceCorps, Akamai, Unisphere. In 2000, I was brought out to San Francisco by the Boston Consulting Group, a top-tier business consulting firm, to manage the creative staff of WebLab, their web development start-up agency. Since then, I have worked here in the Bay Area as an associate creative director, design director, and consultant for advertising agencies, marketing firms, and web development firms.
